Thank you for visiting our websites and your interest in our company. We take the protection of your personal data when using our websites seriously, and therefore only process your data in compliance with statutory regulations.

Scope of application

This data protection declaration applies to the use of all websites maintained by dena. It does not apply to the websites of other service providers linked to the dena websites.

Collection, processing and use of your data

Whenever you access one of our websites or download a file from the website a record is automatically generated as to which website was visited and when. A record is also made of the volume of data transferred, which web browser and operating system were used, the querying domain and the IP number allocated to your computer. This data is automatically saved in log files and is used solely for internal systems-based and statistical purposes. IP numbers are rendered anonymous before the information is evaluated for statistical purposes.

Otherwise we only record, process and use personal data if you have provided us with this information voluntarily and its storage and use is allowed by law or has your consent. We mainly use your personal data to answer your questions, process orders and provide you with information regarding our services.

Sharing of personal data

We will not sell your personal data nor pass it on for the marketing purposes of third parties. Your data will otherwise only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary to process a transaction or if you have given your express consent to the sharing of your data. Data will only be passed to third parties insofar as we commission a service provider with the completion of your order or the sending of information or invitations. All service providers are also required to comply with the Federal Data Protection Act.

Data security

dena has implemented technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data from loss or misuse. When recording or transmitting particularly sensitive data such as your account details, we use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption. This encryption ensures that only we are able to read the data being transmitted. Please note that we cannot guarantee full data security for communications sent by e-mail. We therefore recommend that you use the postal service for any confidential information.

Use of cookies and web beacons

A cookie is a small text file sent by a website and stored on the hard disk of the visitor to the website. The next time the visitor goes back to that website, his browser sends the previously received cookie to the web server. The server can evaluate the information thus received in a variety of ways.

Cookies are only used on dena websites to make the web applications easier to use. Some personal data is therefore stored in the cookies if this information was provided by you. This is the case, for example, if you register on our website using your e-mail address. A web beacon is an electronic, transparent graphic image, also called a one-pixel GIF or clear GIF. It does not collect personal data.
