The Bundestag enacted a draft amendment of the renewable energy sources act (Erneuerbare Energien Gesetz - EEG). Electricity generated by offshore wind parks that go on line until the end of 2013 will be reimbursed with 14 Ct/kWh according to the amendment. Wind parks going on line from 2014 on will be reimbursed with 12 Ct/kWh for a period of 12 years. This reimbursement rises depending on water depth and distance from coast. The basic tariff is 3.5 ct/kWh, with the annual degression of 3.5%.
